Brigade Models 6mm M-84 Kochte MBT

Today started off with so much promise.. up bright and early, ready to take on the day.  The figures were already prepped and just needed undercoating.  While they were drying I thought to myself “I’ll just quickly have a go at doing those SF tanks, won’t take me long…” Famous last words or what?  It has been a case of try a paint scheme then another and so on.  Me and my great ideas!  The original plan was to use something along the lines of this -

black and orange

No matter how many attempts I had it just didn’t look right.  That said I am now happy with how the tanks look and think the scheme will translate well onto the rest of the army.  I just didn’t quite intend for it to take all day… Ooops!

Anyway, this is how the end result turned out.  They are not quite finished there are decals to be added when they arrive.

Back and an ever so slight monumental cock up!

Posted in SF Gaming on July 6th, 2010 by Phil

After a brief spell of being missing and a lack of posts we are back.  The site has been up and down today as I have been moving things around and making the firezonestudios.com account the primary domain.  This has meant that I have needed to shift things around on the server.  Now all was going well until I needed to move the blog.  It would appear that I have made a monumental cock up, so we start again.  I still have all the images, but the posts have gone AWOL.  The moral of this story is don’t work on websites when you are stressed and tired.

Ah well… So the first post for the brand new shiny blog is a Japanese Mecha that I have been working on.
