Dark Realm Miniatures Scenics
Posted in: SF Painting, Scenics by Phil on June 24, 2009
Another day of painting has just been, and I must say I found it easier today, so thats good. I know I said that yesterday I was going to be working on some Black Powder miniatures but yesterday turned into a non-event and the day from hell. Still, i woke up this morning in a very positive mood (I think the glorious sunshine helped) and cracked on with some more commission work.
This time around it was the turn of some of the Dark Realm Miniatures scenic pieces. I’ll be perfectly honest here and say that I wasn’t overly impressed with the models when I unpacked them, seeing them in their bare metal state does nothing for them at all. After minimal cleaning (the landing platforms did have quite a bit of flash though), a quick undercoat followed. With the undercoat on the quality of the models really started to stand out, lots of detail and very well made.
The DRM models were painted to go along side the Old Crow models I painted recently and I think they will fit in very nicely. Enough of my waffle though… on with the pictures.
